Religious Freedom...Religious Indoctrination
Let's talk about it...
π©πΎπ« Because the U.S. guarantees freedom of religion, there are THOUSANDS of distinct faiths and denominations.
π©πΎπ« The U.S. Religion Census tracks over 370 major religious bodies.
π©πΎπ« The population is broadly divided into major world religions and a growing non-religious population.
π£ Different religions have their own sacred books, stories and teachings and each believe their sacred book, stories and teachings are the one and only truth.
π£ Religious freedom does not allow one religion and suppress all others.
So...if the Christian Bible is required to be taught by America's education systems, is that just the first of many sacred books, stories and teachings to be taught in schools? π€
Will the Quran, Book of Mormon, New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures, TripiαΉaka, Satanic Bible, etc., follow? π€
π©πΎπ« Did you know that Voodoo is also a legally recognized religion in this Nation of religious freedom? Will that be taught in schools as well? π€
π©πΎπ« What about the children of atheists? Although atheism is not a religion, under American and international law, non-theistic and atheistic beliefs are treated equally to religion. Will these kids be forced to read and learn the Christian sacred books, stories and teachings? π€
π£ AMERICA IS NOT A CHRISTIAN NATION. It is a Nation where religious freedom allows you to freely be a Christian OR any other religion of choice.
π©πΎπ« If the Christian sacred book, stories and teachings are required to be taught in schools, so can the sacred books, stories and teachings of any other religion.
π£π£ Religious freedom means no one religion can FORCE their religion upon anyone else.
π£π£ Religious indoctrination--FORCING children to learn the sacred book, stories and teachings of one preferred religion--in schools is a violation of the U.S. Constitution.
Just keepin' it real...
