Teaching the Bible and Ten Commandments in public schools?
Let's talk about it...
ππΎ They cuss each other and your kids out π€¬ at home, then love on each other at church.
Their hands are used to stroke and hold each other in church instead of praise the Lord. Some be so glued to each other they might as well be sitting on each other.
It's ridiculous cause it's not portraying the picture they think it does. Instead of seeing a loving couple, folk think they're putting on a show of togetherness, staking a claim and probably don't even touch each other at home.
Anyway, that's what I've heard church attendees say who comment on the behavior. ππ
Listen, take your hands off your spouse in church, clap your hands, make a joyful noise and lift up holy hands in the sanctuary...stroke and hold them at home. π Anyhoo...I digress.
ππΎ They scream and fight at home, then talk peace, respect and unity at church.
ππΎ They're mean as the devil at home but are full of smiles and bonhomie at church.
ππΎ They spew racist and bigoted bile at home, then talk about the love of God and how the Lord has no respect of person at church.
ππΎ They trash any and everybody at home, then grin in the faces of the same folk at church.
ππΎ They disrespect and low-rate each other at home, but esteem each other at church.
ππΎ They abuse--emotionally, psychologically physically...sometimes, sexually--their children and spouses.
ππΎ They shred their kid's and spouse's self-esteem.
ππΎ They get sloppy drunk, high and/or squander the rent/bill/grocery money, then expound on Christian discipline at church.
ππΎ They're drug dealers Monday through Saturday and church leaders on Sunday.
ππΎ They lie...often, then talk about how God hates a lying tongue at church.
ππΎ They have roving eyes and bits on the side.
ππΎ They're bitter, cutting and hateful at home, then spiritually deep, sanctified and prophetic at church.
All of that☝πΎand more is done to and before kids in some Christian homes, yet the kids need to read the Bible and Ten Commandment posters in schools to teach them about God, respect, honesty, kindness and discipline?
It would be more beneficial and impactful for kids if their Christian parents let their light shine, be salt that has not lost its savor, be actual walking epistles of Christ in the home and stop being hypocrites before their kids. π€·πΎ♀️
In addition, TAKE them to Sunday School at your church cause if any of that☝πΎis going on in your home, you need to learn about God, respect, honesty, kindness and discipline as well.
Just keepin' it real...
